To confirm some of the information in my previous blog I went to a different website and found loads of information on one of the most impoartant figures in the Mexican Revolution. His name was Miguel Hidalgo. Another impoartant person wa Ignacio Allende, both were considered the fathers of Mexican Independance. http://www.mexonline.com/mexican-independence.htm. It contains detailed information on the beginnings of the Revolution. These two important people acted as martyrs for the Mexican Revolution because they died while trying to gain independance and the indiginous and mestizo rose against the Spaniards. This website confirmed other information from other websites.
