Little information

September 08, 2007- Today I hardly did any research, but I did glance over some bit of information. That information was about music. As you can see in the picture below there are many mayans playing their wind instruments while other mayans are playing their percussion instruments. They are, most likely, playing for a special occasion such as a victory or a celebration. The flutes, which were crafted out of fired ceramic, were considered the more extravagant and higher ranking intrument. Musicians were considered to be a higher rank than normal townsfolk. Music seems to be a very important part of every great culture that has ever existed. So it is not too surprising that the music is important to Mayan lifestyle.
